About Me

Enrique J. Molinares
Journalism Student | Video Producer | Community Volunteer

Hi, I’m Enrique J. Molinares. I was born in Melbourne, Florida, and grew up in Palm Bay. My dad is from Colombia and my mom is from the Bahamas, which gives me a unique cultural background that I’m really proud of.

I’ve always loved media and storytelling. That passion led me to work as a Video Producer and Director for TV 30 of the Treasure Coast and Al Día Today TV. I also manage social media and public relations for Al Día Today, a bilingual newspaper that covers news and events in our community.

I care a lot about giving back. I volunteer at the Brevard Hispanic Center, where I teach English as a second language and create videos to promote local programs and events.

Right now, I’m studying Multiplatform Journalism at the Florida Institute of Technology. Before this, I went to Eastern Florida State College, where I studied Digital TV-Media Production and earned a GPA of 3.65.

This spring (2025), I’m taking classes in Online Reporting, Interviewing and Data Analysis, Consumer Behavior, and Hospitality and Tourism Marketing. Last fall, I also took a Scientific and Technical Communication class to improve my writing and speaking.

I want to keep growing in media, journalism, and marketing—always telling stories that matter and helping connect people in our community.
